Q-School DP World Tour

From 8 to 11 September 2026, our golf club will host a First Stage event of the DP World Tour Qualifying School for the first time.

The Qualifying School is an important step for ambitious professionals on their journey towards an international career in professional golf. We are therefore delighted that Golf- und Country Club Seddiner See has been selected as a Qualifying School venue this year. A total of 84 players from 27 countries are currently registered for the DP World Tour Qualifying School.

The international field includes players from Europe, North and South America, Asia and the Middle East. Eight players from Germany are currently set to compete.

Q-School at Seddiner See – 2026 to 2028

Golf- und Country Club Seddiner See will host the DP World Tour Qualifying School in 2026, 2027 and 2028.

For three years, our golf facility will therefore be part of one of the most important qualification pathways into international professional golf. Players from numerous countries will compete at Seddiner See with the aim of advancing to the next stages of the Qualifying School and ultimately qualifying for the DP World Tour.

For our club, being selected as a host venue for three consecutive years is a special honour and a testament to the quality of our golf facility and our organisational expertise.

As part of the preparations for the DP World Tour Qualifying School First Stage, which begins on 8 September 2026, Katja Ingenhoven, Course Superintendent David and DP World Tour consultant Graeme MacNiven toured the South Course together.

A very special moment: Graeme already knows our South Course from a player’s perspective – in 1997, he was the gross winner of the opening tournament.

For this special tournament, we are looking for volunteers to assist as starters, forecaddies and driving range assistants.

Registration is now open via the link in our bio and through PC Caddie under “Events”. The registration deadline is 3 September.

The DP World Tour will provide refreshments throughout the day. As a small thank-you, all volunteers will also receive golf balls from the DP World Tour.

We appreciate every helping hand and look forward to your support.

The international Q-School at Seddiner See promises a top-class field of players.

Two particularly notable players are Michael La Sasso (USA) and Yosuke Asaji (Japan), both of whom will compete in the LIV Golf League during the 2026 season. La Sasso is a member of HyFlyers GC and, following his victory in the 2025 NCAA Division I Individual Championship, is regarded as one of the most exciting young players in international golf. Asaji already has extensive tour experience in Japan and Asia and earned his place in the 2026 LIV Golf League through the International Series Rankings.

The field also includes numerous other players with experience on international tours, including Austria’s Niklas Regner, Ahmad Baig from Pakistan and Shubham Jaglan from India. They are joined by players who have competed on the Asian Tour, PGA TOUR Americas and other professional tours.

Total: 84 players from 27 countries.

The largest groups are from the USA with 22 players, Iceland with eight and Germany with eight, followed by several countries with three players each.

The German players (GER) are:

Members and guests can therefore look forward to several days of top-class golf and an exceptionally international field. For Golf- und Country Club Seddiner See, hosting the event also provides a wonderful opportunity to showcase our golf course once again as a venue for professional golf at the international level.
