Data Protection
We, the Golf- und Country Club Seddiner See, as operator take the protection of your personal data very serious. We treat your personal data as confidential and in accordance with data protection rules imposed by law was well as this data protection statement.
We provide information about our activities for you on our website and refer to data processing in order to observe our interests as per Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f GDPR as legal basis.
If you use or visit our website it is – under regular circumstances - not necessary to disclose to us any personal data. As far as personal data might be collected on our pages (e.g. name, address, e-mail address), such will be optional only. Such data will not be disclosed to any third party without your prior specific consent. We point out that the transfer of data on the internet (e.g. by e-mail communication) may be vulnerable. It is not possible to completely protect the data from access by third parties.

Establishing Contacts
Upon establishing contact to the provider (e.g. by contact form, feedback form, registration form for guests, or e-mail) data of the user will be recorded for the purpose of handling inquiries and subsequent questions. We shall not disclose these data without your consent. We shall delete inquiries as soon as same will no longer be necessary. We permanently review collected data if it is necessary to further keep it; furthermore mandatory statutory retention obligations shall apply.

Server-Log Files
The provider of our internet pages automatically collects and stores information in server-log files, which your browser automatically transfers to our provider, especially:

  • Date and time of the search request
  • Type of your browser and its version
  • Used operation software
  • Referrer URL (page from which the file was requested)
  • Name of the requested file
  • Transferred data volume
  • Access status (Data file transferred, data file not fund etc.)
  • IP-Address of the accessing unit

Such data will be stored for 7 days. Such data will not be merged with other data sources. We reserve the right to review such data retroactively if concrete indications on illegal use of our pages become known to us.

SSL-Encryption
For reasons of safety and in order to protect the transfer of confidential content like inquiries you send to us, this site uses an SSL-Encryption. You can identify an encrypted connection if the address of the browser changes from "http://" to "https://" and if the lock symbol occurs in your browser. If the SSL-Encryption is active, transferred data cannot be wiretapped by third parties.

Cookies
If you use this website, one or more cookies will be stored on you computer. Cookies will be transferred to your computer and stored on it. A cookie is a small file, which allows to record varying information.
Primary use of cookies is to record information on the user (resp. the device on which the cookie has been recorded) within the website during and after the visit.
Cookies deleted after the user leaves an internet-service and closed the browser, are called temporary cookies or „Session-Cookies“. Such cookies can e.g. record the content of a shopping cart of an online shop, language settings, or a login-status. The term "permanent" or "persistent" refers to cookies that remain stored even after the browser has been closed. The use of our site is possible without cookies. Users may deactivate cookies in their browsers or limit their use to defined sites or set-up their browsers to inform before a cookie will be recorded. Users may delete cookies from the hard-drive of their computers at any time. In such case functions or user-friendliness might be limited. 

Newsletter
In our newsletter we inform about tournaments, events and on-going club - related topics. If you want to receive our newsletter, it is necessary that you provide us with a valid e-mail address. In order to monitor that a registration has been made by the owner of an e-mail address we use the „Double-Opt-In“-procedure. Upon your registration for the newsletter we record your IP-address and the date of the registration. Such recording is only for the purpose of proof in case that a third party would misuse an e-mail address and registers for the newsletter without knowledge of owner of the address.
Data will only be used for the distribution of newsletters and will not be passed to third parties. You may at any time revoke your consent to record data, your e-mail address, and its use for the purpose of distribution of newsletters. Your revocation can be made through a link in the newsletters, in your user profile or by note to the contacts given in this statement.

Embedding of Services and Content of Third Parties
It may be the case that within this site content of third parties, e.g. videos of YouTube, geographical material of Google-Maps, RSS-Feeds, or graphics from other websites are embedded. This will always require that the provider of such content (i.e. the Third Party Provider) would notice the IP-address of the user. Without the IP-address, Third Party Providers could not send content to the browser of the respective user. Therefore, the IP-address is necessary to display such content. We seek to use only content, the respective provider of which uses the IP-address only in order to deliver the respective content. However, we do not have any influence if the Third Party Provider records the IP-address e.g. for statistical purpose. As far as this has been known to us, we hall inform our users accordingly.

Use of YouTube in the Extended Data Protection Mode
In order to embed videos, we deploy – inter alia – the provider YouTube. This service will be provided by YouTube LLC, 901 Cherry Ave., San Bruno, CA 94066, USA. These Videos have been embedded in the extended data protection mode. In case you select a page of our site with an embedded YouTube-Video, you will be connected to servers of YouTube and the embedded video will be displayed. Thereby it will be conveyed to the YouTube-server which of our pages you have visited. If you have been logged-in as a member of YouTube, YouTube will allocate this information to your personal user account. Upon start of an embedded video this information will be allocated to your user account as well. You can prevent such allocation if you log out from you YouTube account and delete all related cookies before you use our site. Use of Vimeo
In order to embed videos, we deploy – inter alia – the provider Vimeo. This service will be provided by „Vimeo, Inc.“, 555 West 18th Street, New York, NY 10011, USA. In case you select a page of our site with an embedded Vimeo-Video you will be connected to servers of Vimeo and the embedded video will be displayed. Thereby it will be conveyed to the Vimeo-server, which of our pages you have visited. If you have been logged-in as a member of YouTube, Vimeo will allocate this information to your personal user account. Upon start of an embedded video this information will be allocated to your user account as well. You can prevent such allocation if you log out from you Vimeo account and delete all related cookies before you use our site. Use of Golf Board Company
This website uses services of Golf Board Company (Heinkelstrasse 27, 73614 Schorndorf, Germany) to provide you with graphic information on the holes of both golf courses. If you start a page of our site with an embedded plugin of Golf Board Company you will be connected to servers of Golf Board Company in order to display graphic information on the holes of both golf courses. Due to this embedding, data of your browser will be transferred to Golf Board Company for technical reasons.

Use of PC CADDIE://online
In order to allow you to register of tournaments, we use the services of PC CADDIE.
This service will be provided by “PC CADDIE://online GmbH & Co. KG“, Stubber Weg 39, 23847 Pölitz, Germany. If you start a page of our site with an embedded calendar of tournaments, registration for tournaments, lists of starts, tournament results, booking of private rounds, or scorecards, you will be connected to servers of PC CADDIE in order to display the respective element. Due to this, data of your browser will be transferred to PC CADDIE for technical reasons. If you have been logged in as a member of the club in order to use further functions like registrations for tournaments, booking of start times, et al., data necessary to process your registrations or bookings et al. will be transferred to PC Caddie as technical services provider through a secured data link. There will be no disclosure of data to any other third parties. Use of daswetter.com
In order to inform you on the present weather at our facilities we use the services of „daswetter.com“. These services will be provided by „Alpred, S.L“, Patrón 9, 30893 Almendricos, Spain. Due to this embedding, data of your browser will be transferred to daswetter.com for technical reasons.

Use of Google Maps
This website uses services of Google Maps in order to display geographic information visually. This service is provided by Google LLC, 1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA. If Google Maps is used, the IP-Address of the user will be transferred to the server of Google for technical reasons. Part of the processed data can be data on the position of users, which, however, will not be collected without consent (in normal cases carried out in the set-up of their mobile devices) Further data on the use of its maps service by users could be collected, processed and used by Google. Use of Google Calendar
This Website uses the Google Calendar in order to inform about appointments. This service is provided by Google LLC, 1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA. In case you select a page of our site with an embedded Google Calendar, you will be connected to servers of Google and the embedded Google Calendar will be displayed. Hereby data of your browser will be transferred to Google for technical reasons. Your Right as User
If your personal data as user of a website is processed, the GDPR grants certain rights to you. Right of Access (Art. 15 GDPR)
You have the right to request confirmation if your personal data has been processed. If that is the case, you have the right of access to such personal data and the information detailed in in Art. 15 GDPR.
Right of Rectification and Deletion (Art. 16 and 17 GDPR)
You have the right to request the immediate rectification of incorrect personal data concerning you and - in case - the integration of incomplete personal data.
In addition you have the right to request that your personal data will be deleted without delay if one of the reasons as per Art. 17 GDPR applies, e.g. if such data will no longer be used fort he intended purpose.
Right to Limit Processing (Art. 18 GDPR)
You have the right to request to limit data processing if one of the reasons given in 18 GDPR applies, e.g. if you objected the processing of data for the term of assessment.
Right of Portability (Art. 20 GDPR)
In certain cases as given in more detail in Art 20 GDPR, you have the right to obtain your personal data will in a structured, well-established, and machine readable format or rather to request the transfer to a third party.
Right of Objection (Art. 21 GDPR) If data will be collected as per Art 6 Abs. 1 lit. f (Collection of data for protection of justified interests), you have the right to object at any time the processing for reasons from your particular situation. We shall then process the personal data no longer, unless there are veritably compulsive and protectable reasons for the processing, which prevail the interests, rights and liberty of the person concerned or the processing serves the enforcement, exercise, or defence of legitimate claims.

Right to Appeal tot he Regulatory Authority
As per Art 77 GDPR you have the right to appeal to a regulatory authority if you think that the processing of your personal data violates regulations on data protection. The right to appeal may be exercised at a regulatory authority in the EU Member of you domicile, your workplace or the place of the alleged violation.
